What are the steps to

Becoming a Partner?

Partner Requirements

Our goal is to create an atmosphere where quality trumps quantity and Partners are respected based on the success and value they bring to the Marketplace.

Qualities of Our Partners

We are looking for Partners who:
1) Have a passion or calling for helping small businesses
2) Are trusted by their clients and peers
3) Run full-time businesses and have experienced the ups and downs that business can bring

Application Process

- Invitation Only -

All potential Partners will complete a free application process. Through the application, we will vet all potential Partners to ensure they are the right fit for the 17hats Marketplace.

Process Details

1) Complete the lead capture form below
2) The application will be emailed to you to complete
3) 17hats Team will complete the research
4) A possible interview will be scheduled
5) 17hats team will make a decision

Partner Acceptance

Once a Partner is accepted, a contract will be completed and then they will receive access to a Partner's Brand where they will create and submit items to the Marketplace.

Onbarding Process

1) Contract with revenue share details
2) Marketplace brand will be created which will include all templates from your original 17hats account
3) Create your Partner Bio
4) Create or Connect to Stripe payment processor

Item Submission

You will create your service offering within your Marketplace Brand and submit to for acceptance which will then be published on the Marketplace.

Submission Process

1) Create your item
2) Add a follow up Workflow to schedule the service appointments
3) Submit to review by the 17hats Team
4) 17hats Team Publishes to the Marketplace

What exactly is the 17hats Marketplace?

The 17hats Marketplace is where small business owners can connect with a network of trusted professionals to seek education and advice for their businesses. Currently, we are only accepting 17hats Templates in the Marketplace.

Where can I see the Marketplace?

You can visit the Marketplace at Marketplace.17hats.com

Is the Marketplace inside of the 17hats platform?

While our original Marketplace was inside the 17hats Platform, our new Marketplace will be external and open to the public to browse.

What can be sold in the Marketplace?

All types of online business services can be sold in the 17hats Marketplace.

Members can also buy templates and processes from the Marketplace. Sellers will need to submit an application to be a Marketplace Template Seller.

What is needed to submit my service to the Marketplace?

Each Service will need a title, short description, long description, and price. We also require a terms of service and post purchase instructions. Lastly, each service is required to have a follow up Workflow which is triggered upon purchase. The Workflow needs to be designed to allow the buyer to schedule their service with you.

What is the revenue share agreement?

The revenue share agreement is 70/30 (partner/17hats) split on the purchase price.  

How do Partners get paid?

All Partners will be required to create and maintain a connection with Stripe within their Marketplace Brand.

The Partner's payment processing account will process the payment, which gives you full control over managing the payments and refunds.

When a buyer purchases a service, the revenue share will be completed electronically by Stripe. Therefore, there are no payouts anyone has to make.

How do I schedule the service with the buyers?

Each Service submission is required to have a follow up 17hats Workflow attached which will trigger when a purchase is made. With each new purchase, a Contact and Project will be created in your Marketplace brand and the Workflow will ensure immediate followup to schedule their service.  

What if I get too busy?

If you get too busy and do not have the availability to take on new clients, you can unpublish your service from the Marketplace and then republish when you are ready to take on more clients.
